The Seabed Walk & Oyster Tasting

At low tide, walk out onto the seabed to explore the oyster and mussel beds in

the Royal Bay of Grouville, home to the largest oyster farm in the British Isles.

With our expert guide, you’ll learn about modern sustainable aquaculture and

the island’s fishing history dating back to the 1800s.

The walk finishes at Seymour Pub and Restaurant,

where you can try freshly harvested Jersey oysters.

The Jersey Oyster Company grows these oysters locally in the clean,

nutrient-rich waters you just explored.

-Duration: 2 hours (about 1 mile or 1.6 km)

-Terrain: Easy walk with frequent stops.

-Expect wet feet: wellies or water shoes can be hired for £1.

-Travel & Access: You can get here on the Route 1 bus.

- Dogs on leads are welcome on the beach walk,

but dogs are not allowed inside Seymour Pub.
