Welcome to the 2nd Annual Delicious Jersey Dine-Out Festival, a special focus on local food and drink and a celebration of everything that is Delicious about our amazing island of Jersey.

We are delighted to once again showcase to all our fellow islanders and visitors what we at the Jersey Hospitality Association have been hard at working on for the last few months, providing you with some of the most amazing food and drink that Jersey has to offer, while connecting the ‘dots’ between a number of key industries in our Island.

Hospitality is so important to all our lives in Jersey. It touches every corner of the island, employs many thousands of islanders and ensures that we continue to have vital connections to and from the UK and Europe.

The island’s hospitality sector is a key contributor to your daily quality of life. It enhances the fabric of our society and promotes overall well-being. The vibrant food and beverage businesses make our 9 by 5 island an attractive place to live and support other industries where many islanders work including agriculture, fisheries and producers.

That morning coffee, a special trip to the spa, a sandwich meeting for lunch, a drink after work, a visit to an attraction, dinner out, taxi ride, food delivery, flight off the Island… that’s all thanks to the hospitality industry and a clear reason why we’ve got to look after it and grow it. In short, it provides vital, fun and exceptional experiences for us all.

Delicious Jersey is an exciting and ambitious series of events and festivals designed to bring together our farmers, fishers, producers, suppliers and venues to offer you some unforgettable moments throughout the year. We will continue to focus on building the relationships between those industries, while helping reduce food waste, improve soil health, work in partnership with Public Health, interact with local schools, drive visitor numbers and increase the quality of life for all locals.

Right now, it’s time to enjoy Delicious Dine-Out Festival and on these pages you will discover menus, dishes and products from participating restaurants, cafes, bistros, kiosks, pubs, caterers and producers all showing their unique food offerings. There is only one simple rule for Dine-Out Festival entries – they must feature at least one Jersey ingredient as the focus of their dish or if offering a menu, at least one in each section.

We hope that you get as much pleasure from sampling the amazing food and drink during the festival as we have had in putting it together. Thanks to our members and supporters for making this initiative financially viable, Mailmate for their professional help and advice putting this supplement together and making it a reality, and the very generous support of Jersey Post.
